The Anti-Bullying Network was established at the University of Edinburgh in 1999
and gained a reputation for the high quality of the services it provided to school
communities. A demand clearly continues to exist for these services. And thus
The Anti-Bullying Network relaunched in October 2007 as a not-for-profit company
and is now a registered Scottish charity, number SC038976. The
new Network will have the following objectives: to support anti-bullying work
in schools; to operate a website providing information about bullying and how
it can be tackled; to research and develop effective strategies to address the
verbal, psychological and physical harassment and violence called bullying; to
promote research into bullying and support work seeking to reduce bullying; and
to operate an anti-bullying service which will include the provision of training,
publications and consultancy services.
We are constantly adding information to our website and welcome any feedback. Andrew

Our aim is to provide information about how bullying can be tackled.
We do not offer an advice or counselling service but we do want to hear about
new anti-bullying ideas so that we can pass the information on. |
